Motion Identity
Tekna is Norway’s union for science and technology. They approached us to develop a cohesive design and motion system that could match the energy of their community. Something structured enough to feel credible and consistent, but alive enough to reflect curiosity, momentum, and progress.
Together we shaped an identity that moves with purpose. A flexible system designed to work across campaigns, social, film, and events, and to keep evolving as Tekna evolves.
We built the motion identity taking inspiration from a waterfall present in the brand symbol. Calm at the top, gathering energy as it falls, and creating drops as it lands. It’s a simple way to show how knowledge moves. From thought, to action, to effect.
Creating a design system that could unify a broad, fast-moving community with one credible, energetic, and consistent voice. That simple rhythm became a scalable system.
A motion-first framework with clear rules, modular components, and recognizable behavior. Allowing Tekna to communicate across topics and formats with one connected voice, from daily updates to flagship campaigns.
Modular components make the identity easy to apply across formats and speeds. The same logic works in quick social pieces, long-form film, and large event environments.
We turned Tekna’s brand into a practical motion system. Now they have a clear set of rules and components that work across campaigns, social, events, and film, making their output feel unified and easy to produce.
